I never thought I would see the day….

Amidst their beauty and colorful display…….

The fields in the afternoons are gloriously inviting…..

” i think i dropped my phone “

With the soft dreamy glow of the sunset shining…..

“ok..found it.. now shoot! “

These bulbs whose fragrance might be missing ……

But their blooms  herald the arrival …..

Tulips may not be so elegant like orchids or lilies……

They may not be as romantic as a bunch of roses…….

But their colors are deemed to carry significance……

Representing moods in variety and abundance…….

Reds are said to signify true and everlasting love…….

Hi Mizdi, well you’ve left me breathless. The pictures are beautiful. The beauty of the tulip fields, the water streams, the livestock, green grass is just amazing. Might I add that with the addition of your poetry and cute, witty comments interposed with your presence, is just so creative and truly awesome. Truly, I didn’t want the last picture to appear. I could have kept going all night long, picture after picture. Thank you, Mizdi. Thank you for the most beautiful and thoughtful gift. I will cherish.

Hello Mizdi !
You haved cheered me up considerably by sharing some very lovely pictures from your part of the world with us. My husband & I live in a small city in British Columbia, Canada, nestled up against the Canadian Rockies. Spring is taking it’s time arriving here this year here and our local deer population recently developed a taste for our unopened tulip buds almost decimating our flower bed, which deepened my gloomy mood. How delighted I was to hit upon your site tonight using Stumbleupon! May Mother Nature continue to smile upon you and yours. Thanks very much!

mizdiMay 10th, 2009 at 10:28 am

@sandee oh.. that was lovely! i mean ur comment.. i could almost hear your shriek of delight… thank you, i am as glad as you are!

RoyMay 12th, 2009 at 1:16 pm

ZorloneMay 12th, 2009 at 2:12 pm

beautiful garden you got here. That explained the variety in the pictures. They were shot at different times. hehehe.

mizdiMay 12th, 2009 at 5:49 pm

@Roy me too..love the purple, pink, yellow.. actually love them all.. when u see them in real especially on those long rows of side by side beds.. you would want to swim in them even if u can’t.. the feeling is overwhelming u wouldn’t mind drowning in them… thanks 4 stopping by :)

mizdiMay 12th, 2009 at 5:54 pm

@Zorlone it seems like we just can’t get enough of them so we have to come back.. also they bloom at different times and we wanted to picture all colors and if possible at different stages it was fun anyway and the effort was all worth it.

JennyJuly 8th, 2009 at 6:01 am

Wow! These pictures really strucked my heart,…..its so beautiful..i love tulips….

mizdiJuly 8th, 2009 at 9:01 pm

hi jenny

these tulips fields really never cease to give a feeling wondrous joy and i feel so lucky that i could be amongst them….but they are gone now.. they last for about 6 weeks and that’s also the reason why everyone here loves them more.. they bloom just once a year and what a beauty to behold… if only they could last the whole year round… that would be awesome!

thanks for stopping by :)

JennyJuly 10th, 2009 at 6:52 am

hi Mizdi,

I’m from the Philippines and tulips are very rare in here….they are also expensive…..

When i was young, someone gave me a devotional booklet called OUR DAILY BREAD…i read that every morning as my devotional moment with HIm…the cover of that book is a beautiful imprint of an amazing TULIP..i was moved by just looking at the picture, since then i started searching about tulips…as i grow up, i collect things with tulips design on it..since then, whenevr i see tulips (not real) i am being inspired..i got more interested about TULIPS…i started writing poems as well. just a year ago, i saw tulips and this time, they are real tulips…i saw it from a flower shop in one of the malls in Manila..without a doubt, i took a picture…..i was searching about tulips and i checked on this site and here i saw this beautiful collection of tulips..they are really amazing. Thank you for posting them….tulips is a life to me….i really appreciate it….i wish someday, a specail guy will give me tulips..hahahahah..thanks again! have a great day.

JennyJuly 10th, 2009 at 6:58 am

oh my goodness! miss mizdi, u mean, u r from the Philippines? that is so cool……u must be beautiful in and out..like ur tulips pictures….thank you

mizdiJuly 13th, 2009 at 4:54 pm

hi jenny,
You’ve got one touching story there. really, its different when it comes from a “kababayan”… it moved me coz here i am in the middle of tulips land where, when in season i could have all the tulips that i want, even play amongst the tulip fields… and you are there (in the land of gumamela) longing to see them for real for so long and got just one chance … . do u know how that, made me feel so lucky? thanks for coming back to leave that comment. Godbless!

Mizdi

mizdiJuly 13th, 2009 at 4:54 pm
