Hello..it’s me!
My first English teacher was Hanna Barbera.
Mornings were spent in the company of the Flinstones, Yogi bear, Sinbad, Moby dick and occassionaly Penelope Pitstop.
Popeye remains as my favorite cartoon hero but I give credit to Bluto for sparking my interest in hamburgers. Imagine my excitement when McDonalds first came to town years later.
My childhood was normal and ordinary.
When I was 5 years old I made my 4 year old brother drink lighter fluid. He turned black and blue, was hospitalized and took a week to recover.
When I was 6 years old I almost set our house on fire. I was on an experiment, painting with crayons melted on candle fire.
When I was 7 years old I caused an eight-stitches scar on my elder sister’s forehead when I threw her an electric flat iron that hit her head.
I have 6 sisters and 3 brothers and 2 parents. I learned to cook at age 9. I’m a natural. By the age of 10, I can cook for the whole family. No, I didn’t poison them. I had outgrown causing “accidents” in our household. Thanks to my mother who “exorcised” me by praying the rosary at Quiapo Church for 9 consecutive Fridays, walking on her knees.
I am a lover of fine music… the Loud and the Very Loud.
I would listen non-stop to a single song that I particularly liked for days.
I was and still am a Beatles’ fan.
There was a time Simon and Garfunkel’s Concert at the Park never left the cassette player for weeks.
I love The Wall album of Pink Floyd.
I had listened to Jack Johnson’s Cocoon like crazy. That single song everyday, on repeat for a whole month.
I adore Shakira, Colbie Caillat, Danni Carlos, Amy Winehouse, Dar Williams and Alanis Morisette.
I definitely love 3 Doors Down, Live, Blind Pilots, Jeff Buckley, Damien Rice, David Gray, Travis and Blackfield.
Eric Clapton is my all-time favorite artist.
I love movies. I’ve seen countless and still counting.
I am a small person, 5’3″ in height and weigh 58 kilos. I’ve got quite a figure… straight… as far as i know straight is a figure, right? …no curves, slim and small and that’s it. I am not into working out, in case you are wondering. My philosophy: No pain, no pain.
