Humour is not just a state of mind. It is a state of your being.
Its either you have the humour genes in you or you don’t.

I find humour everywhere even on a pair of slippers.

This is a comparison of two brands of flip-flops : Havaianas from Brazil
and Spartan from the Philippines.

HAVAIANAS

Pronounciation:

ah-vai-yah-nas (Brazilian Portuguese)
hah-vee-ah-naz (American English)
OMG! hah-va-yah-nazzzzzzzz! (Filipino)

Material: high-quality rubber

Price: Simple mathematics, 1 pair of Haivaianas = 100 pairs of Spartan

Pros:

- comfortable on your feet
- shock absorbent
- soft but durable
- available in different colors & designs
- you can wear it at Starbucks
- goes well with an I-pod and Caramel Macchiato
- makes  you look fashionable anywhere
-you can cross your knees while riding a public vehicle
  as if you are wearing high heels.
 -you can show off your new pedicure
 
Cons:

- expensive
- overpriced
- exhorbitant
- cost a leg and an arm

SPARTAN

Pronounciation:

spar-tan (American English)
is-par-tan (Filipino)

Material: low-quality rubber

Price: Simple mathermatics, 1 pair of Spartan = 1 dozen eggs

Pros:

- can also be used to kill  them cockcroaches
- you can use them to punish the asses of misbehaved children
- you can use them while trekking heavy floods or muddy roads
- you can wear them to the wet market
- young boys use them as elbow protectors when  playing
  tough games like run and race, hide and seek or anything that
 involves stumbling or falling or wrestling
- can be used to displace a shuttlecock trapped in between branches of trees
- can be cut into small squares and used as markers on Bingo cards
- a wife can throw them  at her husband if she doesnt really want to hurt him
  during a fight or the plates are too expensive.
 
 Cons:

-creates a confusion of “which is whose?” or “where is mine?”
  in the house,  because they all look the same
- causes callouses and corns on your feet
- sometimes when you throw it at a shuttlecock trapped in between
  branches of trees, it would itself be trapped
- then  you will need either a long pole or  a chair to  loosen them off,
  which  was actually what you should have done in the first place,
  but you were too lazy to get the pole or the chair.
 
In conclusion therefore:

Its better to buy a pair of Spartan than a pair of Havaianas,
Its practical, economical, and the pros outweigh the cons.
